Prizes celebrate academic achievement and enhance a student’s early career profile, providing prestige to their CV.
There are numerous prizes awarded each year. Prizes vary and include financial awards of £250 and above, placements, mini pupillages and trophies. One example of a prize is the Womble Bond Dickinson Honour Roll, which the Northumbria University Law School awards in partnership with Womble Bond Dickinson. The Honour Roll, which is generously sponsored is in recognition of a student’s achievement on a year of a course within the Law School. Students will be awarded a certificate which they may use to support their CV and other forms of job application. The top 10% of all Law students (excluding final year students) form the Honour Roll each year.
