Dr Imran Ali

Assistant Professor

Department: Newcastle Business School

Dr. Imran Ali joined Newcastle Business School (NBS), Northumbria University as a Senior Lecturer in January 2021. Dr. Ali is teaching modules related to strategy at the NBS. He previously served as Associate Professor at the King Abdulaziz University Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. His research interests include; knowledge management, corporate social responsibility, business ethics, and entrepreneurship. 

Dr. Ali has extensive experience in teaching, training, and research in Asia and the Middle East. His studies published in international peer-reviewed journals such as Industrial Marketing Management, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Knowledge Management, International Journal of Gender and Entrepreneurship, International Journal of Project Management.

Dr. Ali worked on numerous funded research projects as PI and Co-PI. He is a member Academy of Management USA, and the British Academy of Management, UK. Dr. Ali believes in doing innovative and evidence-based research for the benefit of the scholarly and practice communities.
