A new simpler Password Reset Service has recently been launched, giving you the opportunity to easily reset your own password if you forget it.
Simply visit , all you will need is your username and your existing DUO app will verify your identity so you can reset your password quickly.
Please note:- that this will only work for UK mobile numbers. If you have an international number, you will need to contact the IT Service Desk via Chat or Phone.
Your new password must meet the university’s password control protocols.
You should avoid using easily guessable passwords and change your password regularly and at least once every 90 days.
Other IT queries – please ask at the IT Place desk, or contact the Service Desk on: 0191 227 4242 in advance of your visit.
