There will be 15 PhD studentships available through the centre to start by 2022. These studentships will be co-funded and co-designed by Northumbria University and a range of partners, with the aim of driving direct business benefits from the research across the duration of the PhD. Whether you are already working for an organisation and are interested in pursuing a PhD with them, or are an independent candidate looking to work on a real-world project with potential for high impact, there are a range of opportunities available.
Students will have access to Northumbria University's graduate school training programme, helping them to become a fully-rounded researcher, as well as access to a range of industry events hosted by Northumbria University’s large-scale initiatives such as IC3. The ultimate aim of the programme is to give students the skills they need to transform how homes are designed and delivered in the future, making homebuilding a clean, precision-engineered and efficient process with greater levels of quality control.
