aims to support STEM students from East Riding of Yorkshire, Redcar & Cleveland, and South Tyneside by alleviating some of the financial burden associated with attending university. This year, there will be 30 scholarships of £5,000 a piece, which will be paid directly to the student (in regular instalments) to minimise costs such as: rent, utility bills, food, books, tuition and other necessities of student life.

Sponsorship arrangement - if your fees are being paid in full or part by another sponsor (such as an employer, charity or trust) this will be considered as a sponsorship arrangement.
Self-funding - students who are assuming full responsibility for the funding of their course. Please note students in receipt of a loan from the Student Loan Company are identified as a self-funding student.

believe everyone deserves the chance to enjoy the best experiences a city has to offer but not all experiences are easily affordable on a student budget. Living costs are rising and so are the costs of books, tuition fees and expenses. For this reason, Go City wants to help students who are enrolled at a college or university in the U.K. by offering the chance to visit major attractions in London for free, while providing a one-time to put towards all those University musts.
The Leverhulme Trade Charities Trustees are offering bursaries to Full-Time Undergraduate students at UK Higher Education institutions. If your parent or spouse works in the Grocery or Pharmacy Industry or as a Commercial Traveller, or you are employed yourself in this capacity, you could qualify for a bursary of up to £3,000 a year towards the cost of an Undergraduate degree.
Open to students who are:
Funds are intended to alleviate financial hardship, by supporting maintenance, tuition and examination fees, travel costs, study materials or accommodation etc. Applicants must provide justification for their reasons for applying.
The maximum value of any bursary is £3,000 per annum for Undergraduates. The sum awarded will be adjusted according to individual circumstances, needs and the funds available.
The continuation of a bursary is dependent upon the student continuing their Full-Time registration, satisfactory academic performance, and there being no material change in the recipient's financial circumstances.
Students selected will not be eligible for any other scholarships during the period of the award.

Students who have a Teesside (TS) home postcode and are studying a first degree in law or closely related subject at Northumbria are eligible to apply for the John Bloom Law Bursary through the Full terms and conditions can be found via the Foundation webpage.
The successful student will receive £2,500 each year for up to three years, to be used to support any expenditure connected to their time at university. Applicants will need to demonstrate academic success or practical experience directly connected to their decision to pursue a career in law. Priority will be given to applicants who are experiencing financial hardship.
Applications open on 1st October each year. If you are a current student studying Law or a related subject and are interested in applying, please contact sue.vout@northumbria.ac.uk. You will receive an application form from the Tees Valley Community Foundation once applications open.
