  • Its free
  • It’s a great way to meet new people, make friends and have fun at Northumbria
  • Its student friendly – we build our volunteering around the academic requirements of students, so you can do both
  • Its student led – we only offer what students want. If there’s something you want to do that we don’t offer, we can help you set it up
  • It’s a great way to do something new
  • Volunteering makes you employable
    • 73% of employers say that the prefer candidates with experience outside of their degree, so it enhances your CV
    • Volunteers can earn monthly rewards and work towards annual awards for excellence and leadership in volunteering
    • All our volunteering and awards can be recorded on a student’s Higher Education Achievement Report for employers to see.
